Expand allCollapse allDay 1: Driving from Delhi to Jaipur takes around 6 hours.
Following breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up and take you to Jaipur. Once there, check into your hotel and later tour the city palace, a royal complex with beautiful gardens and old structures. Visit the Hawa Mahal in the evening, a palace designed to resemble the Hindu deity Krishna's crown. Dinner and a hotel stay in Jaipur.
Day 2: Jaipur sightseeing and a six-hour drive to Delhi
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and take a half-day city tour of Jaipur to see Amber Fort, a castle built in the Rajput style that is perched on a hill overlooking Maota Lake. The Birla Temple (Lakshmi Narayan Temple), a Hindu temple devoted to the deity Vishnu (Narayan) and the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi, is located on an elephant that is decked out with an elaborate covering and saddle. With your guide, tour the temple. After lunch, travel to Delhi on your own. Transfer to a hotel, airport, or train station upon arrival in Delhi for further travel. Your overnight Jaipur tour ends here with a lovely memory.
